Heart to Heart Foundation was founded in 1983 with a mission to support healthcare and medical research. In earlier years, the founders sponsored cardiology research at Georgetown University and also sponsored home healthcare.
Today, Heart to Heart Foundation supports activities in integrative health, environmental health, and disaster recovery; including collaborative partnerships in community health and wellness, education and awareness, community outreach, coalition development, and interdisciplinary intervention (501c3, est. 1983).
Many activities are in collaboration with George Mason University's Center for Resilient, Adaptable, and Safe Communities (C-RASC) and STAR-TIDES.
